Our Mission
01. INCLUSIVE PLATFORM AND ECOSYSTEM
OCERT is an ecosystem that brings all stakeholders together to discuss and structure the training of robotic surgery in Europe. To streamline ideas and projects and to decide on future initiatives, we have organised a series of meetings. Led by Orsi Academy, the Consensus Meeting on European Robotic Training (OCERT) is an international, multidisciplinary conference involving, scientific societies, experts and industry leaders focused on training in robotic surgery.
02. AIM
To date the OCERT panel has achieved consensus on standardized, international training pathways which should be elemental of a structured, validated, replicable and certified approach to robotic technology implementation. They have also initiated the development of metric-based training programs for basic and advanced surgical skills which underpin a proficiency-based progression methodology approach to training.
